Library Hours: Easter Break

AU Library hours for the Easter Holiday break are as follows:

Wednesday, March 27th - Close 8 pm
Thursday, March 28th - Close 5 pm
Friday, March 28th - Closed
Saturday March 30th & Easter Sunday, March 31st - Closed

LexisNexis Academic Maintenance

The LexisNexis Academic database will be unavailable because of maintenance early Saturday, March 16th, from 12:01 am to 8:00 am.

ProQuest Database Maintenance

ProQuest databases will be unavailable because of maintenance from 10:00 pm Saturday March 9th until 5:00 am Sunday March 10th.  Affected databases include American Periodicals, ProQuest Dissertations & Theses, Safari Books Online, and the Wall Street Journal.

AU Library spring break hours begin Saturday, March 9, 2013.

• Saturday 3/9 and Sunday 3/10: Closed
• Monday 3/11 through Friday 3/15: Open 8 am to 5 pm
• Saturday 3/16 and Sunday 3/17: Closed

OhioLINK: ETD Update

News from OhioLINK regarding the status of the Electronic Thesis and Dissertation database is detailed below and on the OhioLINK Facebook page.  Updates will be posted as they become available. Thank you for your continued patience regarding the ETD.

ETD Search and Display is back! 

Search and Display: We are pleased to report that the ETD data integrity scan passed all vulnerability checks, and all previously published ETD data is back online along with search and display functionality. We would like to thank James Russell of OhioLINK and the OH-Tech development team as well as the information security staff for working diligently to get this service back as soon as possible. If you notice any unusual service behavior, please report it through the usual channels. 

Submission and Approval: OhioLINK staff, OH-Tech, and selected members of the ETD Task Force continue to work on testing and review of the submission and approval features. We expect to open up the service to general staff user testing sometime early next week. 

OH-Tech is working on the capture and load of submissions into the submission and approval application that were in process at the time of the server incident. We hope to minimize the necessity for re-submission of as much content as possible for the sake of students and ETD administrators. We apologize for the disruption in service, and thank you for your patience. - 1/29/13

Library News: Charging Station

Need to charge your phone? A charging station is now available to AU Library users. Located near the copy and change machine on the library main floor, the charging station has a variety of cords to fit a number of devices.  If you need help locating the charger, ask at the library circulation desk.

AU Library is not responsible for any device left unattended.
