We are in the process of changing over Archer Library and Ashland Theological Seminary Library's Interlibrary Loan article and book request forms from Google to Microsoft authentication. Forms are currently displaying error messages and/or redirecting users back to the library website.

Interlibrary loan remains available; please send full citation information for articles and book requests to the Interlibrary Loan email:  ill@ashland.edu. Be sure to send the requests using your Ashland University email account.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will post updates as soon they become available.

Interlibrary Loan Requests Problem

Users of our OneSearch and EBSCO databases are typically able to submit direct requests for interlibrary borrowing of articles cited in those databases.  EBSCO is currently investigating a problem with that functionality that began Friday, June 1st.  Until the problem is resolved, we have replaced the links to the request forms with a message that refers you to the Quick Link for Interlibrary Loan on the library main page.

If since Friday you submitted an interlibrary request please be aware that it has not reached us.  You can resubmit such requests using the Quick Link on the library main page.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  If you have questions about your requests, please write to us at ill@ashland.edu

Once the database links to the request forms are restored you will again be able to use them to submit direct requests for interlibrary borrowing.

EBSCO Databases and Interlibrary Loan

Access problems to EBSCO databases have been resolved, BUT interlibrary loan requests that were generated in EBSCO databases between Friday the 17th and Monday the 20th did not get transmitted to our interlibrary loan account, and we have no way to discover them.

If you placed an interlibrary loan request between 1:45 p.m. Friday and 3:45 p.m. Monday, please resubmit it.  You can do so either either by placing a new request or by forwarding to ill@ashland.edu the confirmation message you may have received.  Thank you!
