June 14: OhioLINK Extended Maintenance

OhioLINK has announced all platforms and services will undergo planned extended maintenance on Monday, June 14th from 7:00 p.m. to Midnight.

Two periods of up to 45 minutes of downtime are expected during the projected maintenance window. The following resources will be affected:

OhioLINK Catalog Maintenance

Two maintenance windows requiring downtime have been scheduled for the OhioLINK Central Catalog have been scheduled for this week.

• Thursday, 8/23, from 5:00 to 7:00 am · 
• Friday, 8/24, from 5:00 am to 7:00 am 

OhioLINK's catalog will be unavailable for 15 to 30 minutes during these times. While Central is down, patrons will not be able to navigate to the OhioLINK catalog, and any renewals of items checked out through the catalog will be queued for processing until the maintenance is over.

AU Library catalog will remain available during this maintenance window. However, any OhioLINK renewals made will also be queued until updates are complete.

Planned Maintenance on 6/25

"On Monday, 6/25, there will be extended maintenance done on the Central Catalog between 2:00 am and 10:00 am. We are anticipating that the OhioLINK Catalog will not be available during this maintenance window."

OhioLINK Maintenance June 26th

OhioLINK Services will be unavailable Monday evening, June 26th, from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. because of maintenance. This includes the OhioLINK website, OhioLINK Catalog, OhioLINK Electronic Journal Center, and everything else OhioLink.

OhioLINK Maintenance December 28

OhioLINK services will be down for maintenance on December 28th from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  Affected services will include the OhioLINK web site, OhioLINK Catalog, OhioLINK Electronic Book Center, OhioLINK Electronic Journal Center, and the OhioLINK Digital Resource Center.

OhioLINK Maintenance October 26th

Various OhioLINK services will be down briefly tonight, Wednesday October 26th, between 8:00 p.m. and midnight.  Affected services should be down no more than 15 minutes each.

Update: OhioLINK Catalog & EJC

The OhioLINK Library Catalog and Electronic Journal Center (EJC) have been restored. Please be sure to let us know if you experience any residual problems with these resource.  Thank you for your patience.

We have received notice that the OhioLINK Catalog and Electronic Journal Center (EJC) are down this morning. High priority tickets have been submitted. Updates will be posted as we learn more about the situation.

The OhioLINK web site is 'back up.'

The OhioLINK web site is currently not available; OhioLINK databases and the OhioLINK catalog are not affected by this outage and remain available for use.

OhioLINK Maintenance Downtime 6/12-6/13

All OhioLINK hosted services will be down during the following window, as OhioLINK servers are moved to a new data center: Friday, June 12, 6pm – Saturday, June 13, 12pm (noon).  This will affect all of the OhioLINK website as well as the OhioLINK Catalog.  Most library databases will remain accessible from the AU Library webpages, but links from search results to articles in the Electronic Journal Center will not work.  If you have questions, e-mail us at library@ashland.edu

Library Closed but Online Services Restored

The library will be closed through Wednesday because of electrical system work, but online library services have been restored. You should be able to request or renew OhioLINK items or get to databases. If you continue to have access problems, please write to library@ashland.edu

OhioLINK Requesting Restored

The problem that was blocking OhioLINK requests and renewals has been resolved.  If you have any further problem requesting or renewing an OhioLINK item please call the Library at 419-289-5400 when it reopens Monday.
Unfortunately, SearchOhio items apparently still cannot be requested or renewed.  We hope to see this resolved Monday or Tuesday.

OhioLINK Book Requests & Renewals

OhioLINK is currently unable to connect to our library system, making it impossible for our users to place OhioLINK requests or renew items.  We will post an update here as soon as we learn that the problem has been resolved.

OhioLINK Catalog Maintenance

The OhioLINK Library Catalog will be down early Thursday morning, August 21st, as it undergoes several upgrades.  OhioLINK expects it to be down from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., so most of us won't notice.  Early risers may as well sleep in.

OhioLINK Service Interruptions Wednesday

On Wednesday evening, February 5th, OhioLINK expects two brief service interruptions as it performs maintenance on its system.  Services affected will include the OhioLINK website, OhioLINK Catalog and request system, databases, and other web services.  The interruptions are expected to last no more than a minute each.

Library Catalog Problem Corrected

Off-campus access to the library catalog has been restored, along with everything that depends on it, including the ability to place OhioLINK requests and get off-campus access to OhioLINK's Electronic Journal Center.  If you have any difficulty getting access to any library resources, close your browser and ty again, and if problems continue contact us at library@ashland.edu or text us at 419-768-6106.
