OhioLINK Notice • Requests Resume
OhioLINK Requests
We are excited to announce that as of May 1, 2022, requests for print materials from the OhioLINK Central Catalog and SearchOhio Catalog have resumed. OhioLINK recommends that students, faculty, and staff requesting items should plan for potentially longer delivery times in May while new and existing as delivery routines are being refined.

OhioLINK Delays
Due to the Republican National Convention taking place in Cleveland this week (7/18 – 7/21), you may notice a delay in deliveries of OhioLINK materials. Additionally, items requested from an institution in the vicinity of the convention area may also be further delayed.Questions about your OhioLINK request? Call the library at ext. 5400, or ask for help at the main desk. My Library Account on the library web site to view may be used to renew books online and check status of OhioLINK requests.

Library Closed because of Power Outage 5/30-6/3
The Library will be closed from Friday evening, May 29th, through Wednesday, June 3rd, as an electrical system is upgraded. The power outage Friday evening will interfere with access to databases and the ability to request or renew OhioLINK items, but those services are expected to be restored by Saturday, May 30th. If you encounter online access problems after Friday night, please let us know by sending an e-mail to library@ashland.edu

OhioLINK Requesting Restored
The problem that was blocking OhioLINK requests and renewals has been resolved. If you have any further problem requesting or renewing an OhioLINK item please call the Library at 419-289-5400 when it reopens Monday.
Unfortunately, SearchOhio items apparently still cannot be requested or renewed. We hope to see this resolved Monday or Tuesday.
