First Ashland University Honors Thesis Joins OhioLINK ETD Center

Sarah Ebinger, class of 2011, has become the first Ashland University Honors student to have her thesis included in the OhioLINK Electronic Theses & Dissertations Center, home to more than 34,000 theses and dissertations written at Ohio universities and colleges.  A major in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Religion, Sarah wrote her thesis, “International Students’ Perceptions of University Assistance with their Social Adjustment,” under the mentorship of Dr. Cindy Moseman of the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences.  With the posting of Sarah’s thesis, Ashland University joins nine other Ohio colleges and universities that contribute undergraduate honors theses to the OhioLINK ETD Center.

First AU Undergraduate Thesis Enters OhioLINK ETD Center

Michael Byrne, class of 2011, has become the first Ashland University undergraduate to have his thesis included in the OhioLINK Electronic Theses & Dissertations Center, home to more than 25,000 theses and dissertations written at Ohio universities and colleges.  An Ashbrook Scholar majoring in history & political science, Michael wrote "An Exploratory Analysis of Free Will in the Social Sciences" under the direction of Dr. Oscar McKnight.  With the posting of Michael's thesis, Ashland University becomes the tenth Ohio institution to showcase its undergraduate theses in the OhioLINK ETD Center.
