OhioLINK: EJC access

Please note the following message from the OhioLINK Facebook page:

"We are aware that some users are experiencing trouble accessing some AIP titles from off-campus at the EJC site and/or the publisher site. AIP has reported no denial of access, and we are continuing to troubleshoot this as an authentication issue. Thank you for your patience."


Update 7/5/13: Access to AIP titles has been restored.

Library Hours: Campus Power Outage 6/13

Due to the main campus power outage scheduled for Thursday, June 13th:

• AU Library will close at 5:00 pm 

Library servers located on main campus will be off-line during the scheduled power outage. Users will not be able to:

• Access library databases
• Use the library catalog
• View and renew their library account
• Request OhioLINK books
• Authenticate for database use via OhioLINK

We anticipate servers being online beginning at 8:00 am on Friday, June 14th.

In observance of Memorial Day, library hours are:

Saturday, May 25th: Closed
Sunday, May 26th: Closed
Monday, May 27th: Closed

AU Library Summer Hours

Library summer hours begin Monday, May 13, 2013.

Exceptions to regular summer operating hours, including holidays, are posted on the library web site.


May 13th to August 3rd

• Monday through Thursday - 8 am to 7 pm
• Friday - 8 am to 5 pm
• Saturday - 10 am to 4 pm
• Sunday - Closed

Instructional Resource Center hours are available on the IRC web site.

Library Hours: After Finals

Congratulations to all of the 2013 Ashland University Graduates!

Ashland University Library hours after finals and during graduation weekend are as follows:

• Thursday, May 9th:  8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Friday, May 10th:  8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Saturday, May 11th:  Closed
• Sunday, May 12th:  Closed

Summer hours begin on Monday, May 13th. A complete listing of Library hours updates is available on the Library Hours web page.

Library Extended Hours

Ashland University Library's extended hours schedule for finals continues through Wednesday, May 7th. We will open at the regular time and remain open until 2:00 a.m. providing study and work space for interested students.

Sunday, 5/5 

2:00 pm to 2:00 am

Monday, 5/6 & Tuesday, 5/7

7:45 am to 2:00 am

Additionally, the Library will be open until 5:00 pm during the last day of scheduled finals.

Wednesday, 5/8

7:45 am to 5:00 pm

The Instructional Resource Center, library second floor, does not participate in extended hours. Color printing is not available in the library during extended hours.
