June 26: ProQuest Ebook Maintenance

ProQuest’s Ebook Central platform is moving from its current server to Amazon Web Services (AWS). The move to AWS will take place on Saturday, June 26. 

ProQuest Ebook Central will be offline from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

During that time, users will not have access to holdings in Ebook Central. If you have questions, please contact at library@ashland.edu.

Library applications down, June 18th [Resolved]

 We have received reports and confirmed with AU IT that several applications are now down, including the library catalog and our proxy server. The proxy server controls access to online library resources, so users may not be able to use library resources at this time. We are sorry for any inconvenience, and will update this post when more information is available. Please reach out to library@ashland.edu for any questions or other access issues.

*This issue has been resolved as of 12:00pm and access to library services should be restored. Please reach out to library@ashland.edu for any additional issues.*

Library Services Outage, June 20

 

Due to infrastructure upgrades on campus by IT, online library services will be unavailable both on and off-campus on the evening of Sunday June 20, 2021. The outage should begin around 6pm and take approximately two hours to complete. If you have issue with connecting to library resources after this window, please email us at library@ashland.edu.

June 14: OhioLINK Extended Maintenance

OhioLINK has announced all platforms and services will undergo planned extended maintenance on Monday, June 14th from 7:00 p.m. to Midnight.

Two periods of up to 45 minutes of downtime are expected during the projected maintenance window. The following resources will be affected:

  • Central Catalog 
  • OHDep Catalog Office Catalog 
  • OhioLINK EZproxy Authentication 
  • Electronic Journal Center 
  • Electronic Theses and Dissertations
  • A-Z Database List Member Portal 
  • Electronic Book Center 
  • Music Center 
  • DRC Finding Aid Repository 
  • Ohiolink.edu
