ProQuest Databases Down

A power outage at ProQuest late Monday knocked out the ProQuest databases.  Affected databases include American Periodicals, Ancestry Library Edition, ProQuest Dissertations & Theses, and Wall Street Journal.  It is not clear how soon they will be restored.

Update: Service Restored

Power has been restored in many campus locations. At this time, wifi access remains spotty and not all library computers have internet; library second floor and the Instructional Resource Center computers do not currently have internet.

Hours Update: July 4th

AU Library Hours: July 4th Holiday:

• Saturday, July 1st:  Closed
• Sunday, July 2nd: Open Noon - 8 pm
• Monday, July 3rd: Open 8 am to 5 pm
• Tuesday, July 4th:  Open 8 am to 4 pm

Regular summer hours resume on Wednesday, July 5th. A complete list of library hours and updates is available on the library web site. 

OhioLINK Maintenance June 26th

OhioLINK Services will be unavailable Monday evening, June 26th, from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. because of maintenance. This includes the OhioLINK website, OhioLINK Catalog, OhioLINK Electronic Journal Center, and everything else OhioLink.

Watch this video documentary from Chuck Mintz to learn more about artist John Clague. Mr. Clague designed and constructed the Auriculum sculpture, a "composite of auriculum and pendulum" known for "its sound and motion features" (John Clague, 1977). The Auriculum is centrally located on Ashland University's campus in front of Ashland University Library.
