Library Hours: Memorial Day

In observance of Memorial Day, Ashland University Library hours are as follows:

Friday, May 28th: Close at 4:00 pm
Saturday, May 29th: Library Closed
Sunday, May 30th: Library Closed
Monday, May 31st: Library Closed

Regular summer hours will resume on Tuesday, June 1st.

Library Resources Unavailable Wednesday after 9:00 pm

A scheduled power outage for several campus buildings Wednesday night, May 19th, is likely to take all library resources offline from about 9:00 p.m.to about 12:30 a.m.  This will affect both on-campus and off-campus access to the library catalog, databases, and the library website as a whole.  It will also prevent access to OhioLINK resources that require authentication and will make it impossible to order OhioLINK books as an AU student.



All resources should be fully functional by early Thursday morning.

Library Spotlight: New Books

AU library adds new books to it's collection throughout the academic year. When shelf ready, new books are featured on the book shelf located on the main floor near the new computer area. All titles have been selected by AU librarians and are subject to the library's collection development policy which includes professional reviews and recommendations by faculty members. Library Summer Hours 2010

Library summer hours begin Monday, May 10, 2010. Exceptions to regular summer operating hours, including holidays, are posted on the library web site.

May 10th to July 31st

Monday through Thursday - 8 am to 10 pm
Friday - 8 am to 5 pm
Saturday - 10 am to 5 pm
Sunday - Closed

Instructional Resource Center hours and updates are posted on the IRC web site.

AU Library hours for post-finals and graduation weekend:

Thursday, May 6th - Close 5 pm

Friday, May 7th - 8 am to 5 pm

Saturday, May 8th - Closed

Sunday, May 9th - Closed

Summer hours begin Monday, May 10th.

Library Extended Hours

Extended Hours continue through Wednesday evening, May 5th. The library will open at our regular time and remaining open until 2:00 a.m. providing study and work space for interested students.
