Library News: Service Restored

Library server upgrades have been successfully completed. Circulation, off campus authentication and OhioLINK requests are fully functional. If you experience problems, please call the library at 419-289-5400 or the reference desk at 419-289-5402.

Library Server Upgrade

Additional server upgrades are planned for 5:00 pm on Friday, October 12.During this time there will be no circulation function, patron authentication or OhioLINK borrowing available. We anticipate full access being restored by 6:00 pm.

Database Access Fully Restored

All access issues that resulted from Friday's server update have been resolved.  If you encounter any problem with the Library Catalog or database access, please contact the Reference Desk at 419-289-5402 or write to library@ashland.edu

Catalog and Database Update

Off-campus access to databases from the AU Library webpages has been restored, with the exception of the Web of Knowledge databases (ISI Citation Indexes).  Databases are not currently accessible  via the OhioLINK website.

Although the AU Library Catalog is back online, it's not clear that OhioLINK requests are going through successfully.  If you place an OhioLINK request this weekend, please check your library account Monday to see if the request is there, and contact the library if you have any questions.

We will post an update when services have been fully restored.

Catalog Back: Off campus access pending

Server updates are complete and the Library catalog is once again available for use.  Database access from off campus is pending, we are working with OhioLINK to remedy the problem.

Library Server: Currently Offline

Library servers are currently off-line for updates.  In addition to the catalog and online renewal, access to library databases - authentication - from off campus is unavailable during this process.

Library Server Updates

Beginning at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 5th, Library servers will be offline for updating. As a result, the AU Library catalog, renewing books with my library account, and online circulation will be unavailable. We recommend using the OhioLINK catalog during this time.
