Labor Day Hours

Archer Library will be closed Saturday, August 31st through Monday, September 2nd for the Labor Day Holiday weekend.  The fall hours schedule will resume on Tuesday, September 3rd.

Welcome & Information Table

Archer Library information table staffed by librarians and representatives from the Writing and Communications Center and the Center for Academic Support (both departments found within the library) welcoming students to campus at the main entrance of the library from 9am-2pm August 26-28.

Print information such as brochures, campus map w/ QR code, and Q&A assistance will be provided.

Welcome to Archer Library

Archer Library's fall hours schedule begins Monday, August 26th. A complete listing of library hours, exceptions, and updates is available on the library website. 

Fall Hours Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday:  7:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Friday:  7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Saturday: Noon to 4 p.m.
• Sunday: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Hours for Archer Library, the Instructional Resource Center, and ATS library are available on the combined library hours main calendar. Archer Library hours are subject to change.

Students, parents, faculty, staff and visitors can now find the services they need "At the Library" from the handy brochure display now available between the Lyceum Cafe and the Writing and Communications Center on the main floor of Archer Library!

Library Hours • Juneteenth

Archer Library is closed Wednesday, June 19, in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday. Our summer hours schedule will resume on Thursday, June 20th. A complete listing of library hours and updates is available on our website.

Visit the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History & Culture to learn more about Juneteenth.

"On June 19, 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas with the news that the more than 250,000 enslaved Black people in the state were free. This day came to be known as #Juneteenth, now officially a federal holiday" (NMAACH.SI Juneteenth).
