Database Access Restored

Database access is working fine again.  If that’s not the case for you just close and reopen your browser, and if problems persist let us know at library@ashland.edu.  If problems recur in the future keep in mind the alternate path to databases via OhioLINK.  Best wishes to all for the Winter Break!

Database Access

Access to research databases through the library webpages has been lost as maintenance takes place on University servers.  Many OhioLINK-provided databases, however, remain accessible through the OhioLINK website.  Look on the OhioLINK site for the Quick Link to Research Databases, select Ashland University, and click the link to the "Listing of OhioLINK Provided Research Databases." Library Hours: Winter Break

AU Library will be closed Wednesday, December 20, 2017 through Tuesday, January 2, 2018 for Ashland University's campus winter break.

AU Library will be open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, January 3rd. For additional holiday hours information, please visit the library hours and update page on the AU library web site.

Library Hours: After Finals

Library hours after finals and prior to the winter holiday break are noted below:

• Thursday, Dec. 14 - 7:45 am to 5:00 pm
• Friday, Dec. 15th:  8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Saturday, Dec. 16th & Sunday, Dec. 17th:  Closed
• Monday, Dec. 18th & Tuesday, Dec. 19th:  8:00 am to 5 pm

Returning Library Materials

Remember to return borrowed library materials, books, CDs, DVDs, IRC resources, and especially OhioLINK items, before leaving campus for winter break.

Returning after hours? A book drop is located by the library service entrance, near the UPS pick up.  Please note, some IRC items (materials kits, big books) will not fit in the book drop and need to be returned during open hours.

Extended Hours: Final Day

AU Library's extended hour's schedule ends today, Wednesday, December 13th.

We are open 7:45 am to 2:00 am, Wednesday, 12/13

Therapy Dogs: There's still time

Did you miss the therapy dogs yesterday? Don't worry, there's still time ... even today!

• Tuesday, December 12th:  1 pm to 3 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm
• Wednesday, December 13th:  10 am to noon
