Hands Only CPR Mobile Tour
Coming to AU Wed 10/16
The 2019 American Heart Association Hands-Only CPR Mobile Tour, supported by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation, will be stopping at AU on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, as part of a 3-day Ohio training tour!
Did you know ...
- Over 350,000 cardiac arrests occur each year in the U.S.
- About 90 percent of people who suffer cardiac arrests die.
- CPR can double or triple a person's chance of survival.
Yet, less than half of cardiac arrest victims receive CPR from a bystander. Come to this FREE event to learn this life saving Hands Only technique and AED use! The event will be held outside, between the Rec Center and Student Center.
- Opening festivities will start at 10 am.
- Five 30-minute training sessions will be held
- Session times are: 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, and 2 pm.
In the event of rain, the event will move to the Rec Center.
Faculty, staff, students and members of the community are welcome to this FREE event! The first 250 participants will receive a FREE Hands-Only CPR Anytime Training Kit that they can take home to extend this lifesaving skill to family members and friends.
